Botany Medicinal Plant Exhibition 2019-20


 Department of Botany  LBS College Arts, Science and Commerce Satara  has organised Exhibition of different Medicinal Plants Under Lead College Activity with title "Botany Art Exhibition." Different types of Medicinal Plants were collected from different places of Satara as well as from Kaas Platue. All degree students from LBS College were actively participated for the Exhibition. The event was inougareted by the Princ. Arvind Burungale YCIS College Satara in presence of Princ. R. V. Shejwal and all the faculty from LBS College Satara.

No Vehicle Day" 22 April. 2022

On the occasion of "World Earth Day" Department of Botany has organised "No

Vehicle Day" by taking Oath, there is none of the staff, students and non teaching

staff were strictly avoid to travel by their vehicles. For the Oath Honr. Prin . Dr.

Shejwal R. V., all teaching, non teaching staff as well as students from LBS College

Satara were present and Mr. Mohite S. A. Head Dept. of Batany had given the Oath.

On the same day Department has organised a lecture on topic " Environmental

Pollution" by Dr. Deshmukh H. V. YCIS College Satara. This programme enlighten

the student about day to day pollution and everyone came to know about the

importance of our mother Earth.

Department of Botany

                    Wall Paper Presentation on Nine Herbs for Navratri

           On the occasion of Navratri Festival Department of Botany has organised ''Wall Paper Presentation on Nine Herbs". Nine different wall papers were prepared by B. Sc. II students on nine different herbal plants. The function has been inaugurated by Vice Princ. Dr. Tawar sir (Department of Marathi). The programme has lead by the Mr. Mohite S. A. (HOD of Botany) and Mr. Sabale R. R. The teaching and non teaching staff of Botany were actively participated to organise the programme and all the science students attended the programme and gain the awareness about the importance of the herbal plants. The programme were held from 26 October to November 4.
